Poor Communication and Unclear Expectations
Concert and venue were great. Parking based on Ticket Masters recommendation was terrible. We prepaid as suggested to reserve a place. The adddress on parking confirmation did not lead to a garage but some business park which was across the highway with no way for pedestrians to cross. I had to go to another garage, the attendant was made i bought online and had to pay again. I complained and parking company acknowledged that they listed the address unclearly but gave me a credit for a future parking instead of crediting me back for the space that did not exist at the location they directed me to.
We tried finding information on what we could carry in to the venue online and had a hard time seeing what the restrictions were. Once we walked up to the venue they had signs stating bag size. They did not list what was not allowed in the bags. I bought and drank from a normal water bottle- the clear plastic ones. And was told at security that I could not carry an empty bottle in to refill. Apparently, only metal cups are allowed in. I have no idea why. But I was forced to throw away my empty bottle- I am not sure how it is a security threat. Meanwhile, the ladies next to me were allowed to bring in 4 plastic water bottles that were full. It would have been very helpful to have this information especially since the person I traveled with has a disability that requires extra hydration.
We thought the concert started at 7, but it did not until 7:45 and that was with the opening band. Once they finished it was a prolonged period to reset stage and have headliner come on.
Then we "won" a prize which turned out anyone qualifying for the age and income bracket "won" which required a high-pressure badly rated time share exchange presentation.
Just seemed to be an evening of poor communication and expectation setting.
